In 2011, Cenovus retained Praxis to implement a face-to-face interview process targeting Aboriginal stakeholders.  The purpose of the interviews was to determine the effectiveness of Cenovus’s communications, to understand how Cenovus is perceived within its operating communities, and to learn how well the company is working with its Aboriginal partners and other stakeholders. Praxis contacted stakeholders, scheduled interviews, and conducted interviews in-person in the location of the stakeholder’s choice. Nine individual interviews and three group interviews were conducted for a total of 12 completed interviews representing the opinions of 16 Aboriginal stakeholders.  Praxis prepared and submitted a report summarizing stakeholder feedback.
