The Beverage Container Management Board contracted Praxis to conduct a random sample telephone survey of Albertans in March 2007. The objective of the survey was to obtain Albertans’ perspective on several areas of possible change to the regulation of beverage container recycling. The survey targeted specific issues such as milk jug recycling, access to depots, cleanliness of depots, deposit rates, and awareness of included/excluded beverage containers.

Additionally, Praxis also consulted industry stakeholders through an online survey. Praxis collected and analyzed the data and produced a report including an extensive list of recommendations.
