Undertaken on behalf of TransAlta Utilities, Praxis provided an overview of the Alberta electrical industry, including a description of the current system and expected changes to this system under the proposed industry deregulation. The analysis summarized supply and demand patterns in the province, price-setting mechanisms, and the economics at specific generating stations. Finally, the report described historical and projected economic statistics for the Wabamun generating station.
