Project Name

City of Calgary Parks and Recreation Survey

Client
City of Calgary
Project Type
Survey research
Timeframe
2005

Praxis designed, implemented, and analyzed results from a randomized telephone survey of Calgarians in 56 sub-communities of the City. The purpose of the survey was to assess how residents currently use, and would prefer to use, park and school yard spaces for recreation and leisure activities. The results helped inform the City about public views on the function, quantity, quality, and accessibility of parks for future parks and recreation planning.
