Project Name

Calgary Regional Health Authority: Public Involvement Discussion Paper

Client
Calgary Regional Health Authority
Project Type
Municipal Government
Timeframe
1997 to 2000

Senior management from the Calgary Regional Health Authority (CRHA) retained Praxis to prepare a “state of the art” paper on public involvement. The paper examined four themes: what it is; how to do it; advantages and disadvantages; and current issues.

In preparing the paper we conducted primary and secondary research through interviews and examining secondary sources. We designed the paper to be used as an initial step in implementing new approaches to public involvement within the CHRA.
