Praxis worked with Tom Reid of Sussex Consultants Ltd. to conduct a public review of the existing governance model of Bowen Island. The review identified both issues and options for improving the structure. The process used various tools including newsletters, questionnaires and an open house/public meeting. The results led to a full restructure study and a decision to adopt municipal status.
