The Britannia mine site, just north of Vancouver, BC, is North America’s single largest source of acid rock drainage, which flows directly into Howe Sound.

Praxis assisted the Fraser Basin Council with the design and implementation of a public consultation process for a reclamation and remediation proposal at Britannia Beach. The consultation employed a variety of techniques including four open house sessions and presentations; development of a comment form; facilitation; and analysis of the public input. Praxis prepared a final report based on this analysis.
