Richard Roberts, past President of the International Association for Impact Assessment (IAIA), and Michel Dorais, President of FEARO, co-chaired the first International Environmental Summit in Quebec City, June 1994. This summit brought together the heads of environmental assessment agencies from 26 countries and eight international organizations for three days to discuss common issues and to identify future strategies.
