In May 2009 Praxis designed and delivered an online survey for Alberta Health Services (AHS). The aim of the survey was to elicit feedback regarding the development of its strategic plan through comment on a new strategy document. All AHS employees were invited to voice their opinions by participating in the online survey; 8038 completed the survey.

Using quantitative questions (scale) the survey measured the extent to which employees agreed with the terms and strategies presented in the document. Praxis designed qualitative questions to obtain suggestions for alternative terms or improvements to the strategy document. The open-ended comments generated 3,586 pages of comments; these were theme analyzed using SONAR software, while quantitative responses were processed through SPSS. Praxis analyzed the findings and prepared a final report for AHS.
