On a yearly basis Praxis Research conducts a three-phase market research study. The first phase involves profiling membership for Calgary Co-op’s existing databases. During the second phase, Praxis Research conducts a series of focus groups with Co-op members to identify perceptions, needs and expectations of Co-op. In the final phase, Praxis conducts a quantitative telephone survey related to members’ perceptions, needs, and expectations.

Praxis Research analyzes the market research data and prepares a comprehensive report, which includes recommendations to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of Calgary Co-op.
