Praxis Pacific worked with the Azimuth Consulting Group to develop and facilitate a series of group meetings with local First Nations concerning a closure plan for Teck Cominco’s Pinchi Lake Mercury Mine. This mine operated in the 1940s and 1970s in north-central BC. Teck Cominco had asked the consultants to organize these meetings to gather the communities’ views regarding the proposed closure plan. The consultants prepared a summary report of the input generated through these meetings, which helped to inform Teck Cominco’s strategic process.
