Praxis Pacific facilitated three working group sessions and a dynamic, well-received regional summit of stakeholders for the Omineca Beetle Action Coalition (OBAC).  Participants included individuals concerned with the social impacts of the pine beetle infestation in north-central British Columbia.

Input from the working group and summit provided the foundation for two OBAC response strategies: (i) Social Services and Supports; and (ii) Attraction and Retention. These form part of 11 pine beetle response strategies OBAC is developing for presentation to the provincial and federal Governments.
