Sarah L. Cunningham Consulting subcontracted Praxis Pacific to collaborate on a project for the Ministry of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation (MARR). We conducted a participatory evaluation of two Aboriginal learning centers, developed as learning-based governance capacity renewal projects.

Praxis Pacific designed and facilitated a two-day workshop with representatives from two First Nations, educational institutions and MARR. Participants responded sensitively, perceptively and effectively to delicate and challenging process issues arising. Feedback indicated that participants believed the process fostered important mutual learning, overcame barriers, and forged goodwill while establishing an actionable plan for advancing the project.
