Ong-Lee Designs – Graphic Artist
Affiliated with Praxis for over eighteen years, Tiam brings 30 years of experience on two continents to support our clients’ graphic design needs.
Tiam began his career as the Art Director for major advertising agencies in both Singapore and Canada. He provided all graphic design support to major accounts with Mercedes Benz, Singapore Airlines and Tiger Beer. Developing his own firm in 1981, Ong Lee Designs, Tiam has a variety of ongoing corporate clients including Petro-Canada, the City of Calgary and Trizac Corporation. He has proven experience with industry standard graphic tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark, Xpress, PageMaker, Freehand and Corel Draw. Tiam delivers a full range of creative services and design solutions for various media including web pages, multi-media packages and interactive CD-ROMs.
Tiam was the primary graphic designer for the Olympic Arts Festival; the City of Calgary used his unique and creative poster in the Olympic bid package. In addition, Tiam has been the recipient of numerous local and international awards for his designs and illustrations, including the National Magazine Award for Illustrations, Print Design Awards, and Art Director Magazine Awards (New York). Tiam has a degree in graphic design in Applied Art from Alberta College of Art.
